Eric Knapp, MD, has been in practice at Hillcrest Family Practice since completing his residency at Texas A&M in 2017. Dr. Knapp takes care of all ages and enjoys getting to know his patients and families to help tailor treatment to each individual's needs. His main priority is keeping his patients active by prioritizing physical activity for all stages of life. In addition to management of chronic conditions, he has particular interest in orthopedic injuries and acute care. He also enjoys performing joint injections, laceration repairs, skin lesion removals and other in-office procedures. The most satisfying aspect of family practice for Dr. Knapp is the relationships he forms with his patients over time and having the privilege of being involved in their care.
Originally from Cincinnati, Dr. Knapp graduated from Clemson and also the Medical University of South Carolina. After residency, him and his wife Jenna (an excellent nurse practitioner at Keystone Family Practice) decided to move back to the upstate to start a family. They live in Simpsonville, and enjoy going to the lake, cheering for the Tigers, and hiking. Dr. Knapp stays active by playing basketball, running, and enjoying time with his two boys and daughter; Griffin, Parker and Symmes.

Very professional and courteous service.
Please stop having people use the same stylus pen to sign "agree for treatment" form. By me making an appointment is an agreement to be treated, plus every sick person coming into the doctor's office has to touch this pen. It doesn't make sense.
