About
Camille Edmunds, MD, joined Prisma Health Premier Women's Care in August 2023. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Dr. Edmunds first obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing from University of Wisconsin and then worked as a full-time registered nurse for a few years. Her passion for health care and medicine led her to the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical training. She then moved to the Southeast to complete her residency training in general OB/GYN at Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Atrium Health program in North Carolina. She is board-eligible in OB/GYN by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Special interests include fertility testing and education, gynecologic ultrasound, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She will offer robotic-assisted hysterectomies and excision of endometriosis at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital starting in spring 2024. A big part of her passion for patient care is helping people understand how their bodies work, both in health and in states of disease.

It would be great if there was an option in MyChart for patients age 16+ to opt to keep some information private from selected "trusted adults" and/or parents. My daughter had some tests that were posted in MyChart, and while I (her mom) was fully aware of the reason the tests were needed, she had opted not to share the information with her dad. When he saw the MyChart information, however, he was very angry that she had chosen to keep the information private and had only shared it with me.
I can't think of anything as the staff was very professional, courteous and friendly. Dr Edmunds is wonderful!!
